Poke Survivor Items, Cards & Upgrades Guide

Understand run-card choices, held-item tradeoffs, permanent-upgrade menus, tickets, and coins before committing your Poke Survivor resources.

Checked October 19, 2026. We inspected the main menus and Controls settings, started a guest run, and reviewed selected item definitions in the public game script. We have not audited every upgrade, reward, or cost.

Separate a run choice from a collection decision

Before accepting an upgrade, read where it applies. A level-up choice during a run, an item effect, and an upgrade bought from a menu are different decisions. Keep those layers separate when comparing a build with a guide: a developed setup may rely on resources that a fresh guest attempt does not have.

Read the level-up cards before choosing

The Controls settings list 1–3 for choosing reward cards. Read the complete card text, including any requirement, before selecting. A familiar move name alone does not tell you whether an effect is already active or still needs another choice.

As general learning advice, solve one problem at a time. If you are running out of safe space, consider whether the offered option changes how you move or attack. Keep track of which card changed your run so the next attempt teaches you something useful.

Held items can include restrictions

The reviewed source code includes an item named Choice Band whose effect increases damage while restricting move switching. That is an example of why the full description matters: the largest displayed bonus may conflict with how you use your other moves. We have not tested that item in a run.

Check the current game description when equipping or accepting an item. Do not assume an item behaves exactly as it does in another Pokémon game.

Permanent upgrades: inspect scope and cost

Our main-menu check found an Upgrades entry. Before purchasing, read the selected upgrade’s scope, current level, next effect, and displayed cost. A guide to a developed build may assume upgrades you do not yet have; compare the starting conditions before judging your results.

We do not publish a “best purchase order” or a total coin requirement because we have not tested or audited the complete progression. Make a purchase only when its stated effect addresses a goal you understand.

Tickets and coins: review the actual reward

The menu includes Missions. Review the currently listed objectives and rewards there before planning an earning route. This guide does not promise a fixed ticket income, a specific drop rate, or that every mission awards the same currency.

For collection spending, read the gacha and pity guide. For account persistence, follow the source game’s instructions: the guest screen warns that guest progress is not saved.

Sources and limits

Menu and control observations came from the source game. The item example was inspected in the Items module of its public game script on October 19, 2026. It is a code observation, not a completed equipment test.
